Anthony Birkla
CEO & Founder

Tony Birkla, Founder and CEO of Denizen Management as well as affiliated companies Birkla Investment Group (BIG) and Novo Development Group.
Tony has been involved in all aspects of apartment acquisition, development, construction, management, and finance for over 25 years. He founded the parent company in 2007 and has guided all related companies through the ups and downs of the economy with consistent growth. Tony is responsible for strategic planning, risk management, operational oversight, and investment decisions for all related companies.
Prior to starting the BIG companies, Tony spent 10 years working with and learning from the best in the multi-family business. He earned his business degree from Indiana University in Finance and Real Estate, with a minor in Economics.
Tony is involved in the Urban Land Institute, The Penrod Society, IUPUI Letterman’s Club, and is a board member of Envision Children in Cincinnati.

Christopher Bradburn
CFO

 

Chris Bradburn serves as CFO for Denizen Management as well as affiliated companies
Birkla Investment Group, LLC (a multifamily real estate development company) and Novo
Development Group, LLC (a general contractor specializing in the multifamily industry).
Chris is responsible for all activities directly or indirectly impacting the financial
performance and health of Denizen Management and its clients, including financial
reporting and budgeting; management of cash flow and investment activities; management
of assets and financial systems; risk management; coordination and management of
federal, state and local tax reporting; accounting personnel development and performance;
IT systems and software; contract management and related legal matters; and strategic
business and tax planning with respect to Denizen’s business activities.
Prior to joining Denizen, Chris rose to the level of Director working as a tax professional for
21 years in the Real Estate Services Group of Katz, Sapper & Miller, a top-60 public
accounting firm. During Chris’s time with KSM he worked primarily with closely-held real
estate development companies and high net worth individuals advising on tax-efficient
solutions to business problems and opportunities. Over the course of his career Chris
provided advisory services on over $7 billion in assets.
Chris earned dual BA degrees in English Literature and Philosophy, graduating with
Distinction. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Indiana, and is a member of
both the Indiana CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants

Oksana Luk
President of Property Management

Born and raised in Latvia, a small country on the Baltic Sea. Oksana grew up learning the importance of discipline and hard work. She graduated from the University of Latvia with an Accounting Degree, which subsequently earned her a scholarship to continue her education in the United States. Oksana chose the University of Cincinnati where she earned a post graduate degree in Accounting and Business Management. In 2001, Oksana began her management career in the restaurant industry. She truly enjoyed her experience as General Manager at Maggiano’s Little Italy. Oksana’s life had taught her the value of hard work and it felt rewarding to experience the result of it in a Country that is known for its history of accomplished Immigrants. In 2005 Oksana made the wise choice to further her career in the field of Property Management. Although she enjoyed commercial projects, Oksana absolutely fell in love with the residential side. Oksana knew it was her forte as she recognized a very special responsibility and the honor to serve people with providing quality, safe and well-maintained home. She quickly advanced from a Property Manager to a District Manager to a Regional Manager, VP of Operations and now as the President of Property Management with Denizen Management. Oksana holds CAPS designation and currently serves on the Board of Directors with Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky, OAA Legislative Committee and as a Delegate of Ohio to NAA which provides employees and the clients of Denizen Management with an advantage of a first row seat to constant developments in the industry as well as her participation in creating local and State legislature in Real Estate, Property Management and Fair Housing sectors. One of Oksana’s greatest strengths is in building relationships and creating a bridge to problem solving and decision making to generate growth and to build value. Oksana speaks 3 languages, enjoys raising her 2 daughters, traveling, and working on continuous personal development.

Prior Work History: Prior to joining Denizen Management, Ms. Harrison began her real estate career with Noneman Real Estate Co, Toledo Ohio as a Leasing Agent, then Assistant Manager; joining Towne Properties, Cincinnati Ohio as a Property Manager in 2009 . After joining Denizen Management, Ms. Harrison as a result of her leadership and outstanding performance was advanced as the Company’s first District Manager.

She also has worked as a Training Specialist for various organizations in Leadership & Development.  Ann has her CPM® and is an Instructor for the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and the National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI).

Prior Work History: Prior to Denizen Management, Ms. Van Osdol began her real estate career as a Development Assistant for Pedcor Investments, Indianapolis Indiana.  Subsequently, Ms. Van Osdol worked as the Office Manager and Development Coordinator for Flaherty & Collins Properties, Indianapolis Indiana; and then the Operations Director for Alderson Commercial Group, Indianapolis Indiana.

Education: Ms. Van Osdol as a degree from Professional Careers Institute, Indianapolis Indiana.

Associations: Ms. Van Osdol is a regular volunteer of the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana, Indiana Sports Corporation and the Indy Criterium
